How we got started with Pigs Todd had a stroke at the age
of 43 and and they did a MRI of his brain an found he had 9 lesions
which they originaly thought it was cancer after
a bunch of test they told him they thought
it was MS . So we thought we would start trying to eat more natural
/ healthier and try and
get away from all the things they seem to pump in to the market animals today
Well
today Todds MRIs show no lesions and they can not understand why .
So we have no other ideas what has happened
except maybe eating more
foods that are natural and not pumped with all the harmonies and chemicals has
surely
helped .
So we raise Chickens a few pigs and turkeys and
and of coarse Goats
. All we can say is we feel healthier living this life style
Pig Info We have purchased 3
Berkshire cross sows for breeding a few litters a year
so we will have a few we will be selling each year after
supplying our family and friends .
For the first 3-4 weeks of life, the piglets consume milk from the sow. For the remainder
of life, the primary components of pig diets are cereal grains, such as corn, and soybean meal. The soybean meal provides
protein, while the cereal grains provide carbohydrates. The diet is supplemented with vitamins .
We have looked around
and found we have a great source local to us for our Pigs feeds Called

The pig is a litter bearing animal and a
typical female will give birth to 10 or more piglets. It is common for sows to give birth to two litters of pigs each year.
Thus, one female pig often produces 20 pigs each year.

So if your local and interested
we will have
a few Turkeys , Pigs , and Eggs for

and of course Nigerian Dwarf Goats
